You can forward date a bill payment up to 28 days in the future. Select either ‘Pay a New Bill or ‘Pay an Existing Bill’ (if you have paid this bill before). Follow the onscreen instructions until you reach the ‘Date of Bill Payment’ field. Enter the date you wish the payment to be made, in the box provided.
Please note: Bill payments are sent after 4.30pm on the date selected. The receiver’s bank will usually be credited within two hours, but no later than the next banking day. You will need your card reader or code card to complete the transaction for the first time.
Please make sure you have enough money in your account on the date you have selected to make the bill payment. If you do not have enough money in your account the payment will not go out of your account. Please be aware that you will not receive any notice to tell you this transaction has failed.
